Lot Attendant

The Leman Automotive Group is one of the largest volume automotive groups in Central  Illinois. We have been family owned since 1963 with 10 dealerships across Central  Illinois. We are a premier family owned automotive group. We employ almost 600  talented individuals and just celebrated 60 years in business! 

Currently our Toyota dealership in Bloomington Illinois is looking for an individual to join  our detail team but assist our sales team by being a Full Time lot attendant. 

Responsibilities 

• Places vehicles in proper inventory position as directed 

• Keeps equipment in good working order 

• Installs sales price mirror signs when required 

• Strips all new vehicles of plastics and stickers for front lot display

• Assists in physically delivering vehicles to final destination when required

• Reports all lot damage or malfunctioning of vehicles on display to supervisor

• Delivers damaged/malfunctioning vehicles to the Service Department

• Ensures vehicles within the demo line are maintained in a presentable fashion;  i.e., gas, cleanliness etc. 

• Ensures walkways and entrances to showroom are free of debris, ice and snow  at all times 

• Ensures all landscape areas are free of debris, weeds, and trash at all times • Performs other related duties as assigned 

Qualifications 

• Must be friendly and have a positive professional attitude 

• Willing to take initiative and offer help across all departments 

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills

• Great organizational skills 

• The ability to multitask, follow direction, be open to change and work effectively  under pressure 

• Committed to teamwork 

• Professional, well-groomed appearance
