Automotive Parts Advisor

Ryan Chevrolet is looking for a Full Time Parts Advisor to join our team!  Our parts advisor is responsible for assisting all customers and technicians with their parts and accessory needs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of automotive mechanics, automotive systems, or automotive parts
• Problem solving is a must
• Excellent communication skills
• Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Must have computer proficiency 
• Valid Driver’s License
• At least 18 years of age

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist all technicians and customers in purchasing needed parts and accessories
• Assist in tracking all incoming and outgoing parts for the dealership
• Ability to locate available parts when the dealership is out of stock
• Facilitate payment collection, ensuring parts are billed correctly through the service department
• Utilizing parts manuals (both hard copy and electronic format), determining the right part(s) for the make, model and year of vehicles being serviced
