Mobile Technician Dispatcher

RWC Group is seeking an organized, customer-focused Mobile Technician Dispatcher to coordinate mobile service for commercial trucks and buses. You will connect customers with our field technicians, prioritize service requests, and manage schedules so repairs move forward efficiently.

The right candidate stays calm when priorities change, communicates clearly, and follows through from the initial service call through completion.

What You’ll Do

• Receive mobile service requests and gather vehicle information, location, symptoms, and customer contact details.
• Prioritize calls based on urgency, safety, technician availability, and travel distance.
• Dispatch technicians according to their skills, equipment, and assigned service area.
• Monitor job progress and adjust schedules as emergency calls, delays, or additional repair needs arise.
• Keep customers informed about technician arrival times, repair status, and schedule changes.
• Create and update repair orders with accurate service details, customer approvals, and technician notes.
• Coordinate with service managers and parts teams to support estimates, parts availability, and repair completion.
• Track open calls and follow up on outstanding work, documentation, and approvals.
• Help ensure completed jobs are documented and ready for billing.
• Communicate safety concerns promptly and support company procedures for field service work.

What You Bring

• Experience in dispatching, service coordination, transportation, fleet maintenance, or a related customer service role.
• Strong scheduling, organization, and follow-up skills.
• The ability to manage multiple service calls and changing priorities.
• Professional telephone communication and a commitment to customer service.
• Comfort using computer systems, email, spreadsheets, and scheduling software.
• Accurate data entry and attention to detail.
• A collaborative approach to working with technicians, customers, and dealership teams.

Preferred: Experience in a commercial truck dealership, diesel repair shop, or mobile service operation; familiarity with repair orders, truck terminology, and dealership service systems.
