We are seeking a License and Title Clerk to manager the administrative and legal processes related to vehicle titles, registrations, and licensing . Experience is preferred. Responsibilities:

• Process titles and registrations: Handle new and used vehicle titles, verify ownership, and ensure compliance with state titling laws 
• Verify documentation: Check accuracy of title, registration, and lien documents; resolve discrepancies 
• Coordinate with DMV: Submit legal transfer documents and liaise with state agencies to ensure compliance
• Manage transactions: Process dealer trades, wholesale transactions, and repossessions; prepare Certificates of Origin and stock cards
• Financial handling: Calculate and collect fees for transfers and registrations; prepare payoff checks and bills for dealer trades
• Record keeping: Maintain detailed records of title and registration transactions, outstanding title work, and vehicle inventory
• Customer service: Assist customers with title and registration questions, provide clear explanations, and resolve issues promptly
• Regulatory compliance: Stay updated on new title and licensing regulations; attend training sessions and update procedures accordingly

Requirements:

• Experience is preferred
• Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency 
• Able to research and analyze information 
• Detail oriented and organized
• A positive attitude and professional appearance
• Good communication and customer service skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
