Quick Lane on 2nd Manager
Department: Operations
Reports to: Fixed Operations Director
Salary Range: $75,000 – $125,000
HOURS OF OPERATION: Monday through Friday 8am-8pm, and Saturday 8am-6pm
The Quick Lane Manager is expected to work scheduled hours within hours of operation, not to be less than 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday, and Saturday as needed.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Quick Lane Manager executes the strategic course for Service Operations in accordance with the Quick Lane brand and is responsible for communication and implementation designated strategy.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with the Fixed Operations Director and department managers in support of their achieving report card results from the annual business plan.

- Report card responsibility ultimately falls on the Quick Lane Manager.
- Collaborate with the Fixed Operations Director in the hiring process for department-level employees that reflect the RMC culture. Hire for care, cultural fit, and competency potential.

- The Quick Lane Manager ultimately has the responsibility to hire, counsel, and terminate department level personnel in their respective store.
- The Quick Lane Manager is a support role designed to aid store level leadership in making the best personnel decisions available.
- Developing and implementing compensation plans.

- Compensation structure for the Quick Lane Manager is a collaborative effort between the Executive Manager and Fixed Operations Director with support from HR as needed.
- The compensation structure for roles within the Quick Lane department is the responsibility of the Quick Lane Manager with support from the Fixed Operations Director, in accordance with the outlined RMC systems and plans.
- Clearly communicate RMC strategies designed to meet ongoing business plan objectives, including but not limited to:

- Technician recruiting and training
- Service and National Quick Lane marketing
- BDC alignment with Quick Lane objectives
- Staffing and support structure
- Used Car reconditioning processes (as needed)
- Training of personnel in their respective core competencies.
- Maintain and effectively manage parts inventory

- Ensuring no obsolescent inventory accumulates
- Appropriate amount of inventory in terms of cost and availability
- Develop execution competency in personnel through regularly scheduled support visits.
- For best outcomes, work regularly with Fixed Operations Director and department manager peers to ensure objectives and strategies are aligned with RMC directives and policies.
- Must be a strategic thinker, with the ability to develop others.
- Bring personnel concerns to HR.
- Work with the Fixed Operations Director to develop an annual plan and the associated strategies for execution.
- Maintain a professional personal appearance and set a standard for all employees.
- Maintain a professional, clean, and safe workspace and environment.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-Focused with problem-solving abilities.
- Combination of sales, customer service, and leadership skills to ensure sales targets are met with high levels of customer satisfaction
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Preferred 2 years of experience in automotive, and 2 years management experience leading a team.
