Job Overview 

We are seeking a high-impact, results-driven Manager of Digital Client Engagement & Retention to own the post-purchase journey and drive event participation, retention, and engagement at scale. 

As Manager of Digital Client Engagement & Retention, you will be at the forefront of leveraging marketing automation, behavioral psychology, and data analytics to drive event attendance, enhance client retention, and optimize lifetime value. Your success is measured by results—attendance rates, engagement metrics, and retention KPIs—not just execution. You will lead a team of specialists while designing and executing marketing campaigns that ensure every client is engaged, prepared, and fully committed. 

This role is perfect for a leader who thrives at the intersection of human psychology, digital engagement, and operational execution. You will be responsible for strategizing, implementing, and refining engagement campaigns, utilizing a data-driven approach to drive participation and impact.

Key Responsibilities 

 Marketing-Driven Client Engagement & Retention 

  • Own the post-purchase journey—design and execute automated marketing campaigns that maximize participation, retention, and client action. 

  • Develop high-converting engagement funnels (email, SMS, automation) to influence behavior and drive attendance. 

  • Leverage AI, segmentation, and automation to personalize outreach, nurture relationships, and create transformational client experiences. 

  • Continuously test and optimize engagement strategies—data is your north star. 

 Leadership & Client Engagement Team Development 

  • Lead, coach, and scale a team of Client Engagement Specialists to execute world-class marketing campaigns. 

  • Foster a high-performance marketing culture rooted in data-driven decision-making and conversion optimization. 

  • Train your team on the latest marketing tools, strategies, and buyer psychology techniques to ensure best-in-class execution. 

 Collaboration & Cross-Functional Execution 

  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and IT to align messaging, campaign strategies, and value delivery. 

  • Amplify community engagement through strategic marketing activations. 

  • Bridge marketing, data analytics, and client experience teams to create seamless engagement strategies. 

 Performance & Optimization 

  • Own engagement KPIs—track, analyze, and optimize real-time engagement performance, CSAT, and retention rates. 

  • Develop customer feedback loops to turn insights into actionable marketing strategies. 

  • Continuously test, refine, and iterate—we don’t maintain, we optimize. 

  • Deliver data-driven reports to executive leadership, showcasing trends, insights, and growth opportunities.

  • Event attendance rates that exceed industry benchmarks—every time.
  • Client Experience (CX) CSAT Score: 90%+.
  • Retention and engagement metrics that continuously improve.

Requirements - Ideal Candidate Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in client engagement, digital experience, or customer success, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. 

  • Demonstrated success in leadership and team development, with a strong track record of coaching, mentoring, and scaling high-performance teams to exceed goals. 

  • Proven marketing-driven leadership with a deep understanding of consumer psychology, purchasing behavior, and data-driven strategy—translating insights into high-impact engagement and conversion initiatives. 

  • Proven ability to optimize engagement campaigns and drive measurable improvements in attendance, retention, and satisfaction, verified through retention metrics 

  • Deep expertise in CRM, automation, segmentation, and analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Looker, Voxia, Tableau, SurveyMonkey, CSAT) 

  • Proven ability to leverage data-driven decision-making to optimize customer fulfillment, retention metrics, and client satisfaction scores, consistently improving engagement KPIs. 

  • Strategic and execution-focused leader with a deep understanding of digital engagement and consumer decision-making, ensuring initiatives drive measurable impact and align with broader business objectives.
