Parts Counter

Riverton Chevrolet Parts Department Is still growing, and looking for a Parts Counter Person.

      Riverton Chevrolet has been Family Owned and Operated since 1922.  We are the oldest family owned and operated dealership in Utah.  

Job Description

• Arrive to work on time and be prepared to work before shift starts.
• Fulfill incoming requests from service techs and lube techs.  Looking up the correct parts quickly and efficiently.  Pulling those parts and taking them to the techs bay if needed.
• Assisting retail customers on the front counter.  Helping to identify the correct part they need if they don’t know the specific term of part. Asking for the sale once the part has been found and price has been given.  If special ordered, collecting the special order deposit and contacting the customer as soon as the part has been received. 
• Answering incoming calls with the script we have agreed on.  Assisting customers over the phone whether it be a retail customer or wholesale shop. 
• Making weekly wholesale calls to ensure our quality of service is still the best in the valley.  Keeping relationships with our customers and letting them know we care. 
• Help stock parts after they have been received in the system. Putting them on the shelf in the correct order and the part number being visible so it’s easy to pull when sold.  Also fixing other parts that are not correct. 
• Keeping our work area clean and free of clutter.  Everything has a place or home.  Make sure it’s there before I go home for the night.
