About Us
At Eagle Senior Living, we believe meaningful relationships are what make a life well-lived. Since 2002, our communities have offered independent living, assisted living, and memory care built around close, family-like bonds between residents and associates. We honor each resident's individuality while helping them feel truly at home.
We're hiring compassionate Caregivers to join our Assisted Living and Memory Care teams. We currently have opportunities for Part-Time Caregivers on 1st and 2nd shifts, as well as PRN Caregivers for all shifts.
As a Caregiver, you'll be a primary provider of resident care — promoting each resident's physical, personal, and emotional well-being while helping them maintain their maximum level of self-care and independence.
Our goal is an active approach to resident care: helping residents return to their highest level of functioning, reach a new stage of independence, or, at minimum, prevent decline — not just passive maintenance.
This role reports to the Director of Assisted Living or Director of Memory Care and does not include supervisory responsibilities, though Caregivers are expected to work independently and use sound judgment.
What You'll Do
- Follow the individualized service plan (ISP) for each assigned resident; observe residents for changes in condition and report them immediately to the nursing supervisor, documenting daily care and any concerns throughout the shift, including night rounds
- Check and record vital signs, weights, and other data as assigned, in accordance with state regulations and community policy
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing/showering, oral care, toileting, and dressing
- Perform restorative nursing techniques such as proper positioning, ADL training, and passive range of motion
- Provide behavioral prompts, cues, redirection, and supportive assistance to residents as needed
- Encourage and assist residents in participating in scheduled activities, including helping residents get to activities
- Assist residents with transfers and ambulation using proper body mechanics, back supports, and mechanical devices as required
- Provide transportation for residents within the community and, at times, to outside appointments
- Respond promptly to urgent resident calls
- Provide backup support to other departments as needed, working as part of a team with nursing staff
- Keep resident rooms, dining areas, utility rooms, and common areas clean, orderly, and safe
- Change bed linens and provide laundry services according to community policy
- Requisition and charge resident supplies as needed
- Maintain a restraint-free environment and support fall prevention programs
- Help welcome and transfer new residents according to community procedure
- Attend in-service training and staff meetings
What You'll Need
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Nursing Assistant Training Program certificate approved by the State Board of Nursing preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification, if required by state regulations
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English and follow written and oral instructions
- A courteous, friendly, patient, and compassionate approach to working with elderly residents
- Strong integrity and discretion in handling residents' health information
- Dependability and flexibility to work assigned shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, turn, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and perform fine manipulation throughout the workday
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted and to carry, transfer, push, pull, and reposition residents with assistance or equipment
- Normal or corrected vision, including depth perception, and normal hearing
Working Environment
- Work is performed in a well-lit, well-ventilated community setting, with occasional exposure to dust, fumes, odors, water, and noise
- Occasional outdoor exposure to weather and temperature changes
- Frequent interruptions and interaction with residents who may be emotionally distressed
- Flexibility to work beyond normal hours, on weekends, or in other roles as needed
What We Offer
- Competitive pay
- Comprehensive benefits for eligible associates, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
- Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holiday Pay
- Flexible scheduling
- Excellent growth and advancement opportunities
- A supportive, resident-focused team environment
