The Aspenwood Company is currently seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Recruiter. As a Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in attracting and selecting qualified candidates for various positions within our organization.
Responsibilities
- Assist hiring managers in determining requirements for each position and the qualities for the best candidates.
- Attracting candidates through various channels like social media and professional networks.
- Provide training to leaders regarding recruiting practices, on-boarding and orientation.
- Determine and implement recruiting best practices.
- Maintain Applicant Tracking System and assure proper utilization.
- Prepare weekly report on recruiting activity.
- Maintain memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to our industry.
- Recruit and evaluate top non-exempt and exempt talent using multiple sources such as networking, job fairs, social media and job postings.
- Screen resumes, interview candidates both by phone and in person.
- Assure positive candidate experience.
- Follow-up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting processes.
- Develop and deliver written offers of employment for management level positions.
- Assure hiring process aligns with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews, timing of transfer with supervising managers, transfer offer letters, additional backgrounds, etc.
- Monitor trends regarding compensation’s impact on offer acceptance and notify VP of HR and Recruitment Manager of any identified patterns.
- Positively contribute to the culture, energy, and growth of the company.
- Maintains a professional appearance and good personal hygiene per company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous experience in recruiting or HR is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organization and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
