Your Role:

The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for helping our persons served improve their communication abilities and enhance their quality of life through personalized speech therapy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct clinical screenings and assessments to evaluate speech and language disorders and inform treatment planning
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including goals, interventions, and expected outcomes based on prescribed care
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient progress; adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards
  • Educate persons served, families, and staff on conditions, treatment approaches, and strategies for self-management and prevention
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and provide relevant clinical updates and reporting
  • Perform assigned administrative duties, including oversight of patient care activities, medical records, and supply management
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable licensure, accreditation, and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and outcomes
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting operational excellence
  • Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and respect in all interactions with patients, families, and team members
  • Meet productivity expectations, including a minimum of 28 billable client-facing hours per week

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in any state; willingness to obtain Michigan licensure upon hire
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or catastrophic injuries, including traumatic brain injury
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and work independently

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and perform computer-based tasks for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist clients with mobility and personal care needs
  • Ability to travel between multiple locations as needed
