Caregiver Needed: Support for Client with Cerebral Palsy

Private Duty Home Services LLC is hiring a caregiver for a client in the surround Kingsport,Tn are living with cerebral palsy. This individual requires hands-on assistance and compassionate support to remain safe and comfortable at home.

Client Care Needs:

• Full mobility assistance (client cannot walk; uses wheelchair)

• Hand-over-hand support for feeding and daily activities (client cannot use hands independently)

• Transfers using safe lifting techniques (experience with gait belt or Hoyer lift)

• Assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, and all personal care

• Meal preparation and feeding support

• Companionship, patience, and clear communication(she uses a communication board)

• Light housekeeping and maintaining a safe environment

Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with the option for additional care hours over time. 

Requirements:

• Prior experience with complex care clients 1 year or more

• Physical ability to assist with transfers and provide hands-on support

• CPR/First Aid certified 

• Must be reliable, compassionate, and attentive

 At least 18 years old with reliable transportation/insurance 

• Previous caregiving experience (professional or personal)

• Ability to pass a background check

• Dependable, compassionate, and patient

• Strong communication skills and ability to follow care plans

• Must be able to assist clients with personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, and mobility support as needed.
