NOW HIRING: Part-Time News Reporter
Priority Media – DuBois, PA

Do you know what's happening in our community, and like being the one to tell everyone else? Priority Media, home of Sunny 106 and Connect FM, is looking for a part-time news reporter to cover Clearfield and Jefferson Counties.

What you'll do:

• Cover local government meetings, school boards, and community events, mostly on weeknights, with a few daytime assignments
• Write clear, accurate stories for on-air newscasts, our Facebook pages, and our station websites
• Gather quotes and details and turn stories around quickly
• Keep an eye out for the stories that matter to our listeners

What we're looking for:

• Strong writing skills and attention to accuracy
• Reliability and the ability to meet deadlines
• Comfort attending public meetings and talking with local officials and residents
• Familiarity with Clearfield and Jefferson Counties is a big plus
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Journalism experience is helpful but not required. We'll train the right person.
