Equal opportunity employer. Each Preferred Care at Home office is independently owned and operated.

What changed and why:

  • Pay and daily pay go first. Caregivers skim past “heroes” and “a calling” because every agency says that. Pay is what gets the click.
  • Use a range, not “starting at $15.” “Starting at $15” reads as $15. Put the range in Indeed’s pay field too. I don’t know what Boerne agencies are paying right now. Check the top 5 local caregiver postings before you publish. If they’re at $16–17, a $15 headline loses.
  • Requirements and next steps were missing. Without them you get applicants who have no car or can’t pass the background check, and good applicants drop off because they don’t know what happens after they apply. Only promise a response time your VA can actually hit.
  • Decide on experience. The original said “experienced” but also “pay based on experience,” which contradicts itself. Requiring experience shrinks your pool. “Preferred” is the stronger call if you’ll train new caregivers.
  • Cut any perk you can’t back up today. For example, keep the training line only if your Caregiver Success Manager is in place.

One more check: your territory is San Antonio. Make sure the Boerne ZIPs are covered before you recruit for clients there.
