Preferred Care at Home of Pittsburgh West, part of a nationwide senior care organization, is seeking compassionate, dependable, and qualified caregivers to serve seniors and individuals who need assistance with daily living throughout Pittsburgh West and surrounding communities.

At Preferred Care at Home of Pittsburgh West, we believe everyone deserves to age in place with dignity, comfort, independence, and grace. Our caregivers play an essential role in helping clients remain safe and comfortable in their own homes while providing compassionate, personalized, non-medical care.

We are seeking experienced Caregivers, Personal Care Aides (PCAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide quality, one-on-one non-medical care to seniors in their homes.

CNA certification is not required for all positions!

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other daily activities.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with mobility, walking, and transfers.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Provide medication reminders as permitted.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with errands, appointments, and authorized transportation.
• Observe and report changes in clients' well-being.
• Help clients maintain their independence, dignity, and comfort.

Qualifications

• Previous professional caregiving experience preferred.
• CNA, HHA, or PCA training or certification is a plus but not required for all positions.
• Compassionate, patient, reliable, and professional.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver's license for positions requiring transportation.
• Ability to meet applicable background check and training requirements.
• Availability for full-time or part-time scheduling.
