Hamilton County and Surrounding Counties Caregivers Needed

Preferred Care at Home of East Tennessee is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide in-home support for clients in Hamilton County and surrounding counties. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily living activities and offering companionship in a comfortable and safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide medication reminders and basic health monitoring
• Help with meal preparation and feeding
• Support mobility and transfers
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Follow care plans and report any changes in client condition promptly

Requirements

• CNA preferred but not required
• Previous caregiving or healthcare experience is a plus 
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong desire to help others
• Ability to pass a background check 
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within service areas
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings
