Preferred Care at Home of Coastal Volusia, a nationwide senior care home health care agency, is seeking qualified candidates in the Daytona Beach area. We provide one-on-one care for seniors in their home or wherever they call home, to perform services that are needed.

**We are looking to fill multiple daytime shifts, and all weekend shifts**

Complementary CEUs/training
Personal Care Responsibilities:
-
Help clients with daily activities, including but not limited to: bathing, dressing, serving meals, helping clients eat, turning clients and ambulating clients
-
Examine clients for bruises, blood in urine or other injuries/wounds
-
Lift clients into beds, wheelchairs, etc.

Clean and sanitize client areas, including changing bed sheets
-
Stay up-to-date on training, policies and procedures
Requirements:
-
18 years or older with a High school diploma or GED
-
Completion of a state-approved CNA or HHA certification training course
-
Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification or BLS (CPR and AED)
-
HIV/AIDs course completion (HHA only)
-
Level 2 background check on file or the ability to pass one

Ability to think and work independently and with direction

Good communication skills and bedside manner with a compassionate personality
Weekly schedule:
- Weekend availability (preferred)
- Rotating weekends
- Day shifts
