At Preferred Care at Home of Bergen County West, we’re proud to serve our local seniors with dignity, compassion, and personalized in-home care. We’re now looking for a caring and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a per diem basis.

Whether you're looking for a flexible side opportunity or a meaningful way to reconnect with patient care, this role offers autonomy, purpose, and the ability to make a real difference — right here in Bergen County.

What You’ll Do:

• Complete initial and ongoing assessments of clients' health and home care needs

• Develop customized care plans in partnership with clients, families, and caregivers

• Supervise and delegate tasks to Certified Homemaker-Home Health Aides following NJ regulations

• Perform home visits to ensure care plans are followed (every 60 days)

• Educate clients and families to promote safety, wellness, and independence

• Maintain clear, timely documentation.

• Collaborate with the full care team to ensure continuity and quality of care.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active RN license in New Jersey (required)

• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, home health preferred

• BSN preferred, but not required

• Familiarity with NJ home care regulations

• Confident in supervising and educating CHHAs

• A kind, patient-focused approach and strong attention to detail

• Reliable transportation and flexibility for Bergen County area visits
