Planned Parenthood Direct (PPD) is the digital arm of Planned Parenthood, delivering trusted sexual and reproductive health care via the Planned Parenthood Direct app and period tracking via the Spot On app. Our mission is to ensure accessible care for patients, whether they prefer virtual services or are unable to access in-person care.

We are at a pivotal stage in our growth and are looking to expand our reach, driving engagement, acquisition, and retention efforts while fostering relationships with Planned Parenthood affiliates across the country.

Summary of Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team to own the strategy and execution of new product initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of digital healthcare and have a passion for building user-centric products in a mission-driven environment. The Senior Product Manager will lead cross-functional teams through the entire product lifecycle, from discovery to delivery, ensuring that we deliver products that meet user needs and align with our business objectives. 

Compensation

$115,000 - $135,000 annually based on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define product vision and strategy in alignment with business goals and customer needs. Develop and maintain a product roadmap that balances short-term priorities with long-term innovation.
  • User-Centric Design & Research: Work closely with stakeholders and designers to understand user pain points, needs, and opportunities. Prioritize features that create seamless, accessible, and impactful healthcare experiences.
  • Product Development: Lead the product development process, working closely with engineering, design, and other stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize the backlog, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, marketing, legal, and operations teams to launch products and features effectively. Drive alignment between stakeholders to ensure business and technical goals are met.
  • Metrics & Data-Driven Decisions: Define, track, and report on key product metrics, using data to inform product decisions and measure success.
  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory environments in digital health, identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Act as a leader within the product team, mentoring other PMs and contributing to a positive culture of continuous improvement. 

Requirements

  • 3+ years of product management experience, ideally in healthcare, digital health, or a highly regulated industry
  • Proven success in managing all aspects of a product throughout its lifecycle
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a startup environment
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive product decisions
  • Deep understanding of user experience and a passion for user-centered design
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities, manage complex projects, and deliver against tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with the unique challenges and opportunities of digital healthcare products
  • Passion for sexual and reproductive health, and a commitment to Planned Parenthood’s mission and values
  • Travel is required depending on project needs
