Express Technician | Porter Ford

This role is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections. We're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and an interest in growing their automotive skills.

Express Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks

• Inspect vehicles for potential maintenance and repair needs

• Replace filters, wiper blades, batteries, and other basic components as needed

• Follow manufacturer recommendations and dealership service procedures

• Complete work efficiently while maintaining quality standards

• Use and maintain tools and equipment properly

• Document completed services and communicate additional repair needs to the service team

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Follow dealership safety procedures and guidelines

Express Technician Requirements:

• Previous automotive experience is required

• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance preferred

• Willingness to learn and develop automotive skills

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with a team

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new programs

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Valid driver's license
