Caregiver

Description of the role: The Caregiver role at Pleasant Hill Senior Services in Bryant and surrounding areas,  involves providing compassionate care and assistance to senior citizens in a residential setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Light Housekeeping
• Companionship 
• Meal prep
• Monitoring and documenting changes in residents' health or behavior.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in care giving or a related field.
• Compassion and patience when working with elderly individuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their families.
• Must be able to pass State of Arkansas background and FBI check.
• Dependable transportation.

  Pleasant Hill Senior Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and care to our clients in Saline, Pulaski, Grant, Garland, and Hot Spring counties. This role involves assisting seniors with daily living activities to ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being.

  Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
  • Help with mobility and transferring safely.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary requirements.
  • Assist with medication reminders and monitor health conditions.
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

  Requirements

  • Previous experience in caregiving or related fields preferred.
  • Compassionate, patient, and attentive to client needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage physical tasks and maintain a safe environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
