Position Overview:

PlanITROI is seeking Decal & Light Cleaning team members for a temp-to-perm opportunity with a 90-day conversion period. The Decal & Light Cleaning team is responsible for preparing computer hardware for resale and redistribution by applying or removing decals and performing light cosmetic cleaning of IT equipment. This role ensures that laptops, desktops, tablets, and other electronic devices meet company and client quality standards before moving to the next stage of processing.

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Asset Tagging & Labeling: Apply company or customer-specific decals, logos, bar-codes, and asset tags to IT equipment, ensuring proper placement and consistency.
• Branding & Customization: Apply custom decals or skins to IT equipment to meet client specifications (e.g., school districts, corporations, resellers).
• Removal of Stickers/Decals: Carefully remove old company labels, security stickers, or school district IDs without damaging the hardware surfaces.
• Cleaning & Sensitization: Perform light cleaning, sanitize surfaces on keyboards, and screens on laptops, tablets, and other devices using approved materials and techniques.
• Quality Check: Inspect hardware for cleanliness, cosmetic quality, and decal accuracy before moving to the next processing stage. Ensure labels are straight, clean, and consistent with PlanITROI or client standards.
• Handle devices with care to prevent damage during cleaning or decal work.
• Identify and report cosmetic or surface issues requiring additional repair or attention.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of decal applications and removal for asset tracking in inventory systems.
• Organization: Keep workstations clean, organized, and in compliance with safety and handling guidelines.
• Goals: Work efficiently to meet daily production and quality targets.
• Collaborate with production, audit, and quality control teams to ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or cleaning role is a plus.
• Basic understanding of handling electronic devices safely.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow electronic cleaning guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift (up to 50lbs)
