Part-Time Field Courier / Added Services Technician

Pillar To Post Home Inspectors – The Lacombe Team is looking for a reliable, organized, and personable Part-Time Field Courier / Added Services Support Technician to join our growing team.

This position is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for part-time work with a flexible schedule who enjoys working independently, driving to different locations, and providing professional service to homeowners and our inspection team.

Pay

$20-22 per hour based on experience

About the Position

As a Field Courier / Added Services Support Technician, you will provide essential field support for our home inspection and environmental testing services throughout Southern and Central Maine.

Your responsibilities will include transporting equipment, setting up and retrieving radon monitors, collecting environmental samples, and delivering samples to laboratories. You will interact directly with homeowners and must represent our company in a professional and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and retrieve radon testing equipment

• Collect water samples for laboratory testing

• Collect mold/air samples, including air cassette samples

• Transport and deliver samples to designated laboratories

• Pick up and return testing equipment

• Assist inspectors with scheduling and logistics for added services

• Maintain accurate sample and equipment records

• Ensure samples are properly handled, labeled, and transported

• Communicate professionally with homeowners, real estate professionals, inspectors, and laboratory personnel

• Help maintain testing equipment and supplies

• Perform other field support duties as needed

• Physically capable of carrying and transporting testing equipment

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Experience

Previous experience in any of the following areas is a plus, but not required:

• Home inspection

• Environmental testing

• Radon testing

• Mold testing

• Water testing

• Laboratory sample collection

• Courier/delivery services

• Property services

• Construction or maintenance

• Customer service

Paid training will be provided.
