We are seeking a Site Furnishing Coordinator to join our Purchasing Department. This role combines research and design support, purchasing, and logistics responsibilities to ensure the effective sourcing, procurement, and delivery of site furnishings for our projects.
Key Responsibilities
Research and Design

Stay informed about new products, emerging trends, and customer needs through coordination with the Sales team.

Evaluate pricing of plan-specified products compared to competitor alternatives.

Coordinate technical drawings, sketches, and specifications when needed.

Prepare presentations of research findings for internal teams.

Evaluate materials, components, and suppliers for product development.

Assist with product cost estimation and budgeting alongside Estimating and Sales.

Maintain organized project documentation and records.

Keep up-to-date with industry developments by attending trade shows and reviewing architectural publications.
Purchasing
-
Source and evaluate new suppliers and vendors for site furnishings.

Collaborate with the VP of Purchasing to negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms.

Issue purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely arrival.

Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
-
Coordinate with Accounting for timely payment of deposit invoices.

Ensure all purchased goods meet quality and specification standards in line with company SOPs.

Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues as needed.

Seek cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers.

Stay informed on market prices, trends, and supply chain risks.
Logistics

Plan and coordinate shipments and deliveries for site furnishings.

Track orders and shipments to ensure timely delivery to project sites.

Maintain communication with carriers, freight forwarders, and warehouses.

Prepare shipping and customs documentation when required.

Handle import/export compliance and regulations as necessary.

Resolve shipping or delivery issues and delays promptly.

Schedule and coordinate inbound freight.

Maintain an updated shipping calendar for all logistics operations.

Pay $60,000 - $70,000 based on experience and skill set.
