Front Desk Agent

We are currently seeking candidates with outgoing, friendly personalities to be Front Desk Agents at Mohican Lodge in Perrysville, OH. This is a crucial role that requires excellent communication and organizational skills. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing reservations, and informing guests about hotel amenities and rates. Compensation is $13.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
• Manage phone reservations
• Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
• Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
• Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
• Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
• Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
• Upsell additional facilities and services and monitoring the Canary system
• Maintain updated records of bookings and payments

Requirements:

• Experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or other customer-facing role preferred but not required
• Experience with computers, copiers, faxes, and other office equipment preferred but not required
• Previous experience with answering multi-line telephones preferred but not required
• Customer service experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
