Bar Supervisor

Bar Supervisor will help maintain the cleanliness of the bar and ensure customer service for guests.  While making drinks for the dining room, bartenders are also responsible for making pizzas.  Bar supervisor will help cover call-offs, vacations and will assist with inventory and ordering.  Join our team and ensure our guests have the best time in the Boxers' Lounge!

• Supervise all Lounge employees reporting any policy infractions or liquor violations to direct supervisor, GM or HR immediately.
• Participate in Management meetings in a professional, positive, confidential manner.
• Order all supplies for the lounge.
• Conduct monthly inventory counts.
• Ensures proper storage and maintains proper temperature for all product.
• Work closely with Food and Beverage Manager to maintain costs.
• Ensures that proper security procedures are in place and observed.
• Report all guest and employee issues in a timely fashion.
• Train bartenders on proper procedures within the Beverage Department including but not limited to: cash handling, cleaning, open and closing, as well as, alcohol laws in Ohio, new and fashionable drinks, and guest service.
• Work with and in other areas of the Food and Beverage Department as needed such as Banquets, Dining Room.
• Repair equipment as required.
• Keep abreast of changes in the alcohol laws in Ohio, and trends in the field.

PRE-REQUISITES:

• Prefer (not required) one year of bartending experience in a high volume facility.
• T.I.P.S trained preferred (will attend class when offered)
• Very knowledgeable in proper carding procedures. Other requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have excellent guest service skills.
• Must have excellent cash handling and general math skills.
• Must be able to work any required shift.
• Must be able to repeated lift and carry 60 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Perform other duties as assigned
