Pennyrile Ford in Hopkinsville is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our service team.

We're looking for a technician who takes pride in diagnosing and repairing vehicles correctly and wants a shop where there is an opportunity to turn hours and make money.

Ford experience is preferred, but not required. If you're a productive technician at another dealership or independent repair facility, we want to talk to you.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns

• Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles

• Complete engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brake and electrical repairs based on experience and certification level

• Perform accurate multi-point inspections

• Identify needed maintenance and additional repair opportunities

• Communicate findings clearly with Service Advisors

• Complete repairs accurately and efficiently

• Document diagnostic results and repairs performed

• Follow Ford and dealership repair procedures

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

• Complete required training and continue developing technical skills

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a technician who:

• Has professional automotive repair experience

• Can diagnose problems instead of simply replacing parts

• Takes pride in fixing vehicles correctly the first time

• Is productive and understands flat-rate performance

• Has their own tools

• Is dependable and shows up ready to work

• Works well with Service Advisors, Parts and other technicians

• Is willing to continue training and improving

• Wants a shop where hard work and productivity are rewarded

Ford certifications are a plus, but technicians from other manufacturers and qualified independent shops are encouraged to apply.

ASE certifications are also a plus.

A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required. Employment is subject to applicable background screening and drug testing.
