Pennyrile Ford in Hopkinsville is looking for an experienced, customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our service team.

We're looking for more than someone who can write repair orders. We want an advisor who can build relationships with customers, communicate clearly, work effectively with technicians, and confidently present recommended maintenance and repairs.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers and accurately identify their service needs

• Write and manage repair orders from check-in through delivery

• Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the repair process

• Review technician recommendations and explain needed repairs in a clear, professional manner

• Provide accurate estimates and obtain customer authorization

• Recommend maintenance based on vehicle needs and manufacturer guidelines

• Coordinate with technicians and parts personnel to keep repairs moving

• Keep customers informed of repair status and completion times

• Follow up with customers after service

• Help maintain a high level of customer satisfaction

Who We're Looking For

The right candidate will be:

• Experienced in automotive service advising or service writing

• Excellent with customers

• Comfortable presenting and selling recommended repairs and maintenance

• Organized and able to manage multiple repair orders

• Strong on follow-up and communication

• Able to work effectively with technicians, parts and management

• Dependable, professional and motivated

• Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment

Ford dealership experience is a plus, but not required. We will consider experienced Service Advisors from other automotive dealerships and repair facilities.

A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required. Employment is subject to applicable background screening and drug testing.
