Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Body Shop Support Assistant to join our team. This role supports daily body shop operations by handling vehicle check-ins, scanning procedures, quality control inspections, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, and willing to assist technicians as needed to ensure efficient shop flow.

Responsibilities

• Check in incoming vehicles and complete initial documentation
• Perform pre-repair and post-repair vehicle scans
• Conduct quality control inspections on completed repairs to ensure work meets standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the body shop and work areas
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of shop waste appropriately
• Break down cardboard boxes and manage shop packaging materials
• Assist body technicians with general support tasks when time permits
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
• Support overall shop efficiency and workflow

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and light lifting
• Basic understanding of automotive repair environment preferred, but not required
• Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities

Work Environment
