Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Events Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of event planning and coordination. You will work closely with our experienced events team to help execute a variety of events, ranging from corporate meetings and conferences to weddings and social gatherings.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of various events and functions
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure all event requirements are met
- Help manage event logistics, including setup and breakdown
- Maintain organization of event materials and supplies
- Support the marketing team in promoting events through social media and other channels
- Assist with attendee registration and communication leading up to events
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed for events
