Position: Communications Representative

Location: Austin, TX  

Salary: $800 - $1,195 per week

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Communications Representative to join our team, an integral role that will foster positive relationships and clear communication between our organization and the public. In this increasingly interconnected world, our aim is to enhance our brand's presence while ensuring that our messaging aligns with our mission and values.   

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance organizational visibility.
• Draft and distribute press releases, newsletters, and other promotional materials.
• Manage and maintain the organization's social media platforms, ensuring content is engaging and consistent.
• Act as a liaison between the organization and media outlets, responding to inquiries and facilitating interviews.
• Organize and coordinate events, press conferences, and other communication-related activities.
• Monitor media coverage and analyze communication effectiveness using various metrics and KPIs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a communications role or similar position.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems.
• Experience with media relations and the ability to cultivate positive relationships with journalists.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
