Position: Communications Coordinator

Location: Austin, TX  

Salary: $800 - $1,195 per week

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Communications Coordinator to join our team. This role will be pivotal in enhancing our organization's communications strategy, fostering relationships with stakeholders, and promoting our mission through effective messaging. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives that resonate with our audience, organizing events that elevate our brand presence, and utilizing various communication channels to engage with our community. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans that support organizational objectives.
• Create engaging content for press releases, newsletters, social media, and the company website.
• Coordinate and execute internal and external events, ensuring alignment with our communication strategy.
• Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, stakeholders, and community partners.
• Monitor media coverage and public sentiment, providing insights and recommendations for strategic adjustments.
• Assist in the management of the organization's social media presence, including content creation and engagement strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in communications, public relations, or a similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to craft compelling messages.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
