Porter / Facility Superintendent

Park Ford of Mahopac, Inc is seeking a dedicated Porter / Facility Superintendent to join our team in Mahopac, NY. This role involves maintaining the appearance and functionality of our dealership to ensure a welcoming and efficient environment for both customers and staff. The ideal candidate will take pride in keeping our facility clean, organized, and well-maintained, while supporting daily operations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dealership grounds, showroom, service area, and parking lots.
• Perform general maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, equipment service, and upkeep of facility equipment.
• Support the service department by moving vehicles, keeping service lane clean, and assisting with lot organization.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Empty used shop oil, garbage receptacles, and metal bins
• Report facility issues promptly and work proactively to solve problems.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar facility maintenance or porter role preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic handyman skills and knowledge of general maintenance practices.
• Strong attention to detail and a positive work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
