Pandya Medical Center is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant for our Dawsonville location.

Monday-Friday 7:45am-5pm, no weekends.

 

Job duties are as follows:

  • Escort patients to exam rooms, interviews patients, measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document all information in patient’s chart
  • Perform EKG's as necessary
  • Assist Provider in exam rooms during exam and procedures
  • Ensure all related reports, labs and information is filed is available in patients’ medical records prior to their appointment
  • Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, prepare sterilization as required
  • Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls
  • Triage and process messages from patients and front office staff to Providers
  • Maintain all logs and required checks (i.e. refrigerator temperatures, emergency medications, expired medications, oxygen, cold sterilization fluid change, etc.)
  • All other duties as assigned by Clinical lead or Office Manager

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, Providers, and staff.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Strong documentation and data entry accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Critical thinking and sound judgment within scope of practice.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to high-quality patient care.
  • Dependable, punctual, and adaptable to changing clinical needs.
  • EHR experience required, Athena experience a plus

 

Salary range: $19.00 - 21.00/hr
