Automotive Title Clerk

Job Summary:
P & W BMW is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Automotive Title Clerk to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As a key member of our Accounting & Finance department, the Automotive Title Clerk will be responsible for managing the paperwork and processes involved in vehicle title transfers. Responsibilities:
• Prepare and submit title documents for new and used vehicles to the appropriate state agencies
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all title paperwork
• Process title and registration documents for leased vehicles
• Verify lienholder information and communicate with lending institutions
• Request payoff quotes and submit payments to release title liens
• Maintain and update vehicle inventory records
• Communicate with customers and other departments to resolve title issues
• Keep up-to-date with state laws and regulations regarding vehicle titles
• File paperwork and maintain organized records
• Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks, as needed

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience as an Automotive Title Clerk or similar position
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with dealership management systems
• Familiar with state laws and regulations related to vehicle titles
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Must have a valid driver's license
