Pahokee Health & Rehab is looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our team!

Our goal is to provide high-quality care while helping our residents maintain their independence, improve their quality of life, and reach their highest level of function.

Position: Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

Location: Pahokee, FL
Facility: Pahokee Health & Rehab
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

What You Will Do:

• Provide occupational therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Assist residents with activities designed to improve strength, mobility, coordination, and independence.
• Develop positive relationships with residents and their families.
• Document treatments and resident progress accurately and timely.
• Work closely with nursing, therapy, and other departments as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Help create a positive and supportive environment for our residents.

What We Are Looking For:

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of Florida.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable, professional, and committed to providing quality resident care.
• Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience is preferred but not required.
