Banquet Server

To ensure that all food and beverage service for functions in the banquet department of the Resort are served on time. This is a part time position. Position pays: $16.90/hour plus service charge. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all Banquet side work as designated by the Banquet Captain.
• Efficiently and properly perform all service standards.
• Attend to all needs of the guests during functions and function related duties.
• Report to Banquet Manager any need for housekeeping and/or repairs of and banquet equipment.
• Follow all liquor liability laws.
• Must be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws.
• Must attend all designated pre-meal meetings.
• Exceed guest expectations
• Maintain tables during service
• All Bar & Bar Set Ups are to be set and ready 15 minutes prior to noted event start time
• Keep count of guest served
• Perform at a high service level at all times
• Work with other Banquet Servers & Captains productively ensuring guest quality & service at all times
• Assist in Room set up and breakdown as requested
• Maintain “team” mentality to ensure that all service standards are met at all times
• Any and all reasonable requests of management

Qualifications

• Prior experience in banquet serving a must. 
• TIPS Alcohol Certification and Food Handlers Certification are all required
• High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
• Excellent customer service practices Adherence to departmental and property standards and procedures 
• Teamwork: Works efficiently and effectively as member of a team; communicates and cooperates with banquet & property staff
