Banquet Barback

Work in cooperation with Banquet Bartender.  Ensures friendly guest service at all times and maintains a clean & professional bar presentation. Position pays: $16.90/hour plus tips/service charge

Responsibilities

• Responsible for setting up bar area.
• Ensures supplies are prepared for beverage service.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
• Must be familiar with all policies related to liquor liability laws.
• Close bar and return all beverage bottles to storeroom.
• Must work with Banquet Bartender in a courteous and productive fashion
• Maintain an awareness of all functions, events and meetings taking place at any given time
• Ability to read and write constructively in the English language.
• Bi-lingual ability in Spanish strongly suggested
•  Any and all reasonable requests of management

Qualifications

• Prior experience in banquets a must.
• TIPS Alcohol Certification and Food Handlers Certification are all required
• High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
• Excellent customer service practices Adherence to departmental and property standards and procedures 
• Teamwork: Works efficiently and effectively as member of a team; communicates and cooperates with banquet & property staff
