Service Lane Porter / Shuttle Driver

Position Summary

We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused Service Lane Porter / Shuttle Driver to join our dealership team. This position plays a key role in creating a great customer experience by assisting service customers, maintaining the service drive and vehicle displays, transporting customers safely, and supporting the overall flow of the dealership. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, energetic, and enjoys working around people and vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in the service drive in a friendly and professional manner
• Assist service advisors with vehicle flow and customer check-in
• Drive customers to and from home, work, or other destinations using dealership shuttle vehicles
• Park, move, and retrieve customer and inventory vehicles safely
• Keep the service lane, customer areas, and vehicle displays clean and organized
• Wash or fuel vehicles as needed
• Assist with snow removal, lot maintenance, and general appearance of dealership grounds
• Help coordinate loaner vehicles and customer transportation needs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of shuttle vehicles
• Perform basic errands for the dealership when needed
• Follow all dealership safety policies and driving procedures
• Provide excellent customer service at all times

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred
• Friendly, professional, and customer-service oriented
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move vehicles throughout the day
• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to help where needed
