We are looking to add Lead Massage Therapist to our team. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Delivering a variety of spa services (body treatments, massages, facials) in a safe and comfortable manner
Maintaining equipment and sample inventory of products
Uphold additional Spa Service Provider Job Summaries as depicted in Training Manuel
Conduct training's for new therapists
Conduct training's for current therapist for staying up to date on current services
Assist in New Hire Training's for fellow Service Providers
Apply best practices and be up to date with market trends
Acknowledging and responding to relevant customer queries, needs and expectations
Cooperate with and report to administration on any arising issues
Make sure all service providers have current information displayed such as licensing, continued education, etc.
Be on alert as spa DEM to report any sign of Human Trafficking to the state, per Massage Practice Act, Florida chapter 2019-152; Florida Statutes 480.033(11) chapter
Be responsible for the operation of a massage establishment in accordance with Chapter 456, Florida Statutes, 480, Florida Statutes, and 64B7, Florida Administrative Code.
Hold a clear and active license without restriction
Be designated by the rules or practices at the establishment.
QUALIFICATIONS::
- Able to read and follow both written and verbal communication
- Communicate successfully and maintain good interpersonal relations with guests, coworkers, contractors and others via telephone, in writing and in person
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Must follow uniform, time clock and safety standards as outlined in the employee handbook
- Must be on time, in uniform and on the floor according to company standards
- Physically able to comply with all aspects of service which may require moderate to strenuous activities including but not limited to: crouching, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling and lifting
- Must demonstrate good initiative and sound judgment in making decisions
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to train and demonstrate knowledge of massage therapy and aesthetics
- Have basic knowledge of computers and the aptitude to learn new systems
- High School Education or GED, Current State License
- 1 year experience working in field with others, or equivalent
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES:
Must be in compliance with state and local laws, and hotel policies pertaining to massage & aesthetics by way of having current state license in massage, aesthetics and/or physiotherapy, Completed DEM online paperwork required by the State.
