Host/Hostess

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests in a friendly and inviting manner
• Take reservations within the restaurant reservation system
• Engaging in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion
• Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set wait time quotes for guests
• Manage inventory of tables available 
• Always sincerely thanking guests as they leave and inviting them to return
• Other reasonable duties as assigned
• Communicate with wait staff and supervisors regarding availability of tables
• Communicate guest feedback with Supervisor/Manager
• Adhere to the rules and regulations of the company as defined in the employee handbook
• Always wear appropriate uniform provided by company policy

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required
• Previous experience a plus
• Must have courteous phone skills and the ability to take accurate messages

Job Details:

• On-sight position at Drift Restaurant within the Opal Grand Resort & Spa
• Must have night, weekend and holiday availability
• Hourly rate, $17.00 plus gratuities on to-go orders
