Dock Attendant - Fan Pier Marina

Fan Pier Marina, located in the beautiful Seaport district of Boston, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Dock Attendant. As a premier 100 slip marina serving boating clientele from all over the world, we offer a unique and dynamic work environment. The Dock Attendant position will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service while creating a welcoming, positive, upbeat atmosphere for our guests. Boating experience is a plus but not required. This is a seasonal position starting in May.

Key Responsibilities 

• Assist vessels with safe and efficient docking
• Manage check-in and check-out processes for arriving and departing guests 
• Deliver ice, packages, mail etc
• Maintain site cleanliness 
• Conduct pump outs for vessels as needed

Qualifications 

• Efficient problem-solving skills  
• Ability to operate successfully in a cross-functional and exceptionally busy environment. 
• Basic computer skills
• Available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays if necessary 
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a focus on providing excellent customer service
