Marina Attendant, Cedar Shore Resort, Oacoma, SD

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide friendly customer service to marina visitors.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions for rentals, sales, and services.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by cleaning C-Store, pontoons, docks and surrounding areas as needed.  Empty trash and ensure proper disposal.
• Clean pontoons after each rental to ensure they are ready for the next customer.
• Fuel and service pontoons after each rental to ensure they are ready for the next customer.
• Perform weekly maintenance and service on pontoons and motors.
• Schedule pontoon and boat slip rentals and keep accurate records.
• Utilize basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication.
• Ensure that live bait is fresh and properly cared for.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule that can include mornings, evenings, weekends, and Holiday shifts during the summer season.

Qualifications:

• Must be a self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision.
• Friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
• Attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility in work hours.
• Must be 18 years old or older in order to sell alcohol and tobacco products
