THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic team member to join us in a hybrid role as both Server and Food Expediter. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys both guest interaction and behind-the-scenes coordination, and is eager to expand their skill set across front and back of house operations.

In this role, you’ll split your time between delivering exceptional guest experiences on the floor and ensuring seamless execution between the kitchen and dining room. You are both the face of hospitality and the final quality checkpoint before every dish reaches the table.

What we will ask of you:

As a Server:

  • Welcome, greet, and guide guests through a memorable dining experience
  • Maintain expert knowledge of menu offerings, beverages, and dietary considerations
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and professionally to all requests
  • Complete side work and maintain clean, organized service areas
  • Present and process checks accurately, including proper reporting of gratuities

As a Food Expediter:

  • Act as the critical liaison between kitchen and service teams in a high-volume environment
  • Ensure all dishes are accurate, properly plated, and delivered in a timely manner
  • Serve as the final quality check before food leaves the kitchen
  • Communicate clearly with chefs and service staff to maintain smooth flow of service
  • Maintain a clean, organized expo station while adhering to all DHEC sanitation standards

Requirements for Success:

  • At least 1 year of restaurant experience preferred (serving, expo, or similar roles)
  • A team-first mindset with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to stay composed under pressure
  • Flexibility to work a mix of shifts including days, nights, weekends, brunch, and holidays
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and carrying
