Full-Time Daycare Center Director

WE ARE SEEKING A FULL-TIME DAYCARE CENTER DIRECTOR

Salary: $22 to $25 per hour

Location: Near Germantown and Chelten Avenues in Philadelphia.

We are an established STAR 4 childcare center located near Germantown and Chelten Avenues in Philadelphia. We pride ourselves on maintaining a safe, compassionate and nurturing environment for the families we serve, and we are currently enrolling for the PHLpreK program.

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Director to oversee the operation of our center. The candidate must be creative and knowledgeable with strong leadership and communication skills and have a commitment to staying abreast of childcare best practices. 

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related field 
• Must be knowledgeable about the PHLpreK program
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree
• At least 2 years of experience managing people
• Experience in creating and managing rigorous, age-appropriate curriculum
• Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations for childcare
• Strong proficiency in Word, Excel and the ability to learn other computer programs quickly
• Must have all clearances and a clean driving record
• Must be adaptable and flexible
