Automotive Sales Consultant – Northside Ford Truck Sales (Portland, OR)

Northside Ford Truck Sales, a family-owned dealership serving the Northwest for over 45 years, is growing our retail sales team. We’re looking for a professional, customer-focused Automotive Sales Consultant to join our high-performing group and represent one of the largest inventories of commercial and fleet vehicles in the region, alongside Ford’s cutting-edge electric and retail lineup.

About the Role

As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you’ll work with walk-in customers, inbound phone and internet leads, and fleet/commercial referrals to guide buyers through every step of the sales process—from first contact to final delivery. You’ll be equipped with a deep inventory, strong manufacturer support, and a reputation for knowledgeable, low-pressure service.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers in-store, by phone, and through internet inquiries (CRM, email, text, etc.).

• Ask great questions, build rapport, and present the right vehicle solutions—retail, electric, or commercial.

• Stay up to date on Ford’s latest vehicles, incentives, and especially EV products like the F-150 Lightning and E-Transit.

• Offer expert product knowledge across our commercial inventory, including chassis cabs, cargo vans, and upfit-ready units.

• Coordinate closely with our finance, commercial, and delivery teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.

• Follow up consistently and build long-term relationships with your customer base.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• Professionalism, follow-through, and a customer-first attitude.

• Interest or experience in digital communication (email, CRM, online leads).

• Familiarity with Ford products or the auto industry is a plus—but not required.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
