Parts Runner/Delivery

Norfolk Auto Center is a growing Chevrolet and GMC dealer in Norfolk, NE and is looking for a Parts Runner.  Candidate must have ability to receive, track, and stock parts. This position prepares shipments for postal or commercial delivery.  Moderate Physical activity which includes handling of objects up to  75 lbs with use of lift equipment..  Regularly lift and carry 50lbs.   Lift/move up to 80 lbs occasionally.  Carry parts up & down stairs regularly.  Applicant must  have a clean driving record. Hours will be M-F 8am-5pm and every 3rd Saturday 8am - 1pm.

Responsibilities

• Transport large parts and tires from warehouse to main building, body shop and detail departments
• Deliver parts to wholesales customers as well as to body shop and detail departments
• Put parts away in correct locations
• Communicate with customer on parts delivery status 
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Reviews body shop orders to be sure the parts that are being ordered are correct
• Provides high level service to internal and external customers.
• Pulls and fills orders from stock
• Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
• Receives payment from wholesale customers 
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up

Qualifications

• Read and write English fluently
• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Have experience with auto parts sales (preferred)
• Are able to work in a fast-paced work environment
• Have strong organizational and time management skills
• Clean driving record
