JOB DESCRIPTION
Lead Receiver
The Lead Receiver is responsible for overseeing all receiving activities, managing inventory, and ensuring the efficient and accurate intake of goods and materials. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lead and train a team. The Lead Receiver works closely with the Back of House manager and other departments to ensure the smooth flow of inventory and contribute to operational efficiency. Complies with all health code standards, safety policies and procedures
Duties include but are not limited to:
-Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt
-Unload packages from incoming trucks
-Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
-Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.)
-Contact supplier or shipper if a mistake is identified
-Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements
-Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place
-Ensure invoices are signed and paid for satisfactory deliveries
-Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
-Assists with light maintenance/repair tasks-Ensure all storage areas are well maintained and all supplies are properly stored
-Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures
REQUIREMENTS
-2+ Years of relevant experience
-Able to communicate effectively with management team, supervisors, and staff. Basic knowledge of Electricity and Plumbing Basic Dept Administration duties.
-Basic Computer skills including MS Word, Excel and email
-Able to bend/stand/walk/lift loads throughout duration of shift as needed
-Must be flexible with schedule and able to work different shifts as needed.
