The Mixer is responsible for continuously monitoring and adjusting the product to ensure it is up to Newly Weds Foods, Inc.’s standards.

Essential Functions
|
- Ability to perform all phases of the mixing operation including, but not limited to, knowledge of location and types of ingredients, measuring and weighing processes, reading and understanding batch tickers.
- Has the knowledge and ability to make appropriate adjustments of water and yeast relative to temperature and humidity, without direct assistance and with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to monitor the dough quality and identify problems and make necessary adjustments.
- Assist in training new mixer operators and must stay up to date on new work methods and job procedures.
- Assist in other work areas as directed by the supervisor

Qualifications
|
- High School Diploma or equivalent education, training, or experience (GED).
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; must be able to read and write in English.
- Basic HACCP and GMP knowledge required. (previous food manufacturing experience desired)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs., stand for long periods of time, bend, twist, stoop. Climb on the ladder and platform if necessary.
- Ability to give and follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
