Banquet Setup

New Albany Country Club, a prestigious private Club in beautiful, scenic New Albany, Ohio, is now accepting applications/resumes for Banquet Setup Staff.  The club is conveniently located just 5 minutes from 270 and 161 and 10 minutes from Easton.

Banquet Setup Staff are responsible for properly setting, maintaining, refreshing, breaking down, and cleaning banquet meeting rooms according to event orders and contracts. Our team members may be required to drive delivery vans and/or box trucks to and from off-property client events. 

Pay Range:  $17.00 - $18.00 per hour.  We are currently only hiring part-time PT staff with the future possibility of full-time employment for the right candidate.

Qualified candidates

Must be a team player who is motivated to exceed member and guest expectations, be detail-oriented, have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, and is able to multitask.  Prior banquet set-up experience is highly desired along with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

In addition to specific job requirements, we are looking for candidates with a positive attitude and professional appearance and demeanor. Candidates must also be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Physical and Communication requirements include:

Ability to work long hours and stand for extended periods without sitting or leaning, as well as perform repetitive actions for extended periods of time

Heavy Work Capabilities – Exert 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects

Possess the ability to bend, stoop, pull, stretch, twist, and reach with your body and arms, as well as work under varying temperatures and noise levels

Up Close Vision - the ability to see details and read set-up notes and floorplans at close range

Must possess good communication skills and be able to read the English language to interpret a Catering Prospectus/Banquet Event Order
