We are seeking an experienced Body Shop Estimator to join our collision center team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers and insurance carriers during the repair process, writing accurate estimates, managing DRP relationships, and ensuring a seamless repair experience from drop-off to delivery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and proficient with industry-standard estimating software.

Responsibilities

  • Write accurate and thorough collision repair estimates using CCC One
  • Greet customers, assess vehicle damage, and clearly explain the repair process and timeline
  • Communicate with insurance adjusters and manage DRP relationships
  • Process supplements and ensure proper authorization before additional work is performed
  • Coordinate with the production team to track repair progress and communicate status to customers
  • Review completed repairs to ensure estimates were fulfilled to quality standards
  • Maintain accurate records of estimates, approvals, and communications
  • Monitor KPIs including cycle time, customer satisfaction, and gross profit
  • Stay current on OEM repair procedures, parts pricing, and industry trends
  • Work with accounting staff to finalize closed ROs and WIP

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as an auto body estimator, preferred at a dealership or DRP shop
  • Proficiency with CCC One or Audatex estimating software required
  • Familiarity with DRP programs and insurance repair processes
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail with the ability to thoroughly document damage and repair requirements
  • I-CAR certification or willingness to obtain
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Automotive dealership or OEM collision experience a plus
